KARS Field Day site
June 26-27, 1999
A little fun was had as KB9NYW aka
"Sven the conqueror" prepares
to do (field day battle) with the masses.
Note: The preferred battle weapon is
with a microphone or morse code key.
Bill N9OKX begs for mercy from Bob N9MBR.
Meanwhile, Larry K9JLK is in a battle
of his own with a ground hog that is
determined to steal this ground rod!

the 6 and 2 meter antenna tower.

and two vistors to our field day
site just passing through from the
Will County Amateur Radio League
(WCARL) in Joliet, Illinois are
Frank KA9VPH and Tony KA9WZW.
(Frank and Tony were visiting several
field day sites and taking photos at
each of the sites with a digital camera.
